Christmas Gift (Part 2)

His mother answered, “Yes, darling, the festive season is almost at hand. Meanwhile, it has started to snow all around. The trees, the roads, the housetops, everywhere.”

Then John’s father said, “And it’s time to build snowmen, it’s time to sing the carols, it’s time to ring the bells…”

Yes, John felt even more excited, as in a flash-forward, he could imagine all the views. He began to count the days when Christmas would come.

John, thus, kept on imagining the extreme mirth in the festive season. Again, he started to think what to gift his parents on the Christmas Day.

Days rolled away, but John could not decide yet what to gift on that day.

Anyway, he had a habit of saving money since his early age.

Yes, such a habit helped him a lot. He collected a little amount of money from his store.

John thought up, “What if I buy something for Mom and Dad this Christmas?”

Suddenly, he noticed the calendar that it was already 23 December.

After helping his parents in some household chores, he went to the bakery all alone. The bakery was just a few yards away from their house. After reaching there, he purchased some cakes and chocolates for them.
