The Act of Sharing
The story-- "The Birthday Gift" “The act of sharing produces enormous joy. If we share something with others, we won’t lose anything, but we will gain more happiness, for sure.” Joseph and Harry are two brothers. They always quarrel with each other. Both of them act selfishly. That is to say, they never want to share anything with each other. Whenever they fall out, their mother tries to pacify them by telling them not to do so at all. They promise each time, but they do the same acts the next time. It is Joseph’s birthday today. Everybody in the family is very busy regarding the occasion. However, Harry becomes angry to see all such things. He wonders, “Why should I gift him? Does he care for me at all?” Right now, their father asks Harry what he will gift his brother on his birthday. He says, “Nothing at all, Dad.” Their father draws him close, and then asks him, “Why? He’s your brother. Today is his birthday. Don’t you love your brother?” Harry answers with
