Harmony

The story-- "The Super Best Friends"

“Harmony or unity holds us together just as a thread holds the beads of a garland together.”

 

 Tom, Dick, Harry and Ron were super best friends. There was not a single thing that they did not do harmoniously.

One day, Tom and Dick fell out with each other over a trivial matter. What was that? They fell out with each other for an ice cream. Actually, they found three ice creams of the same flavour for the four of them. Since Tom got a good thrashing from his mother on that day, he was morose. However, he did not express that to the friends. Therefore, it was a mystery to the three other friends. They knew that he was morose but Tom never told them the reason. Hence, they decided to buy ice creams for four of them so that it could make Tom happy again.

Anyway, Harry and Ron were feeling extremely sorry for the entire matter. Dick was also very sad.

Suddenly, Harry and Ron hit upon a plan. They went to Tom’s house without telling them anything. Thereafter, they came to know everything from Tom’s mother. She told them to bring Tom and Dick, and that she would show a magic.

Harry and Ron brought the Tom and Dick there as per Tom’s mother advised them. Tom was not willing to come back home at all, but they somehow managed to bring him home.

Then, Tom’s mother told him, “I know that you’ve been hurt. Don’t you know how much I love you, Tom? I know that you four are super best friends. Then why did you fall out with Dick?” Tom responded, “Because you thrashed me.” His mother gave him a cordial hug.

Then she said, “So, I’ve made ice creams for all of you.”

They all jumped in joy.

Then Tom’s mother told all of them, “Unity is the best strength ever. It holds us together like a beaded garland. Whatever happens in life, never lose your harmony at all.”

They plunged into eating the ice creams happily. Thus, the four friends became harmonious once again.
